Our replica was cast from an RMS Titanic rare bronze plaque dated 1912. The Titanic promotional launch plate was intended to be fitted to the dashboard of Senior White Star Line directors, crew members and financiers. A seated figure at top is centered between TITANIC BON VOYAGE and holds the decorative hair of two mermaids as they lie upon sand strewn with starfish below the ocean's waves. The mermaids display the date "1912" within their linked tails. An interesting rare memento of this ill-fated ship for collectors to own and display in many ways.
Measures 4.5 inches (11.40 cm) by 1.5 inches (3.80 cm). Solid cast in museum quality charcoal grey resin lightly highlighted with gilding wax to match the coloring of the orginal we won at auction. Smooth flat-back for mounting as desired. Included are self-adhesive square magnets and flexible peel 'n stick round adhesive to attach to many surfaces including auto and boat dashboards or refrigerators. Gift boxed with velvet foam cushion.
